A grateful veteran,

I am writing to inform you that I have changed my address, having moved back to Perth from the bush. I have also completed a membership form so that you can update the records. I have also included a cheque for $100 to assist the work of the Association; in appreciation of the support you gave me when I applied for an DVA Pension for partial hearing loss. I have been meaning to write for ages, just never got around to it, as life over the past twelve months has been very hectic. Thanks for your support keep up the great work.

Yours Andrew F.

Firstly, may I offer my sincere congratulations within the Queen’s Birthday Honours list. Your recognition by Government is very well deserved and it is true recognition that we, who know and respect you, endorse wholeheartedly. Well-done Shipmate!
Secondly thank you for your kind letter advising finalization of my claim with DVA. I can’t express my gratitude enough for your unstinting support for my case and the ultimate, very successful outcome. If I can ever be of any assistance to you or the association please contact me. In the meantime, I have attached a cheque which I ask you to accept and hope it will assist with the terrific work of the ANVVWA (WA).

The patio is up!! No more water splashing away the foundations under my slabs!
Its heaven! And they did a really great job and nice people too.

Please find enclosed my application for membership of the ANVVWA and my donation of $100 that I hope may be of some assistance.
I prefer to join the WA Branch as Fremantle was my home for the most of my service and it provides an opportunity to keep in touch with some most valued friends.

Kind regards Bob E.

Please accept this small donation ($500) in appreciation of your efforts on my behalf without your help all would be just too hard.
Please pass on my thanks to your great (team). You’re a great caring person China. God bless you and yours

George M.

Thank you for your letter and I apologise for taking so long to reply. I am not as competent as I used to be and your letter was lost for a period.
I would like to sincerely thank your association, and particularly John Sanderson, for the great support and encouragement that you provided to me during a particularly difficult time. Without the understanding, expert counseling and friendship offered by John Sanderson I would not have been able to complete the process of establishing my claim with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. As a result of his commitment and expertise, my claim was successful.
I would encourage any veterans who have a potential claim with the Department, to seek expert advice and assistance from your association. I would be happy for this letter to be published in your newsletter, but request my privacy be ensured.
Thank you again for your great support. My donation to the association is enclosed.

Yours sincerely Ken A.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your guidance, assistance, persistence and support.
Your actions have contributed to the alleviation of my anxiety and anguish. I truly appreciate your guardianship in relation to my affairs with DVA.
My family and I respect your dignifying work and wish you and your family all the best for the future.
Thank you,

Yours sincerely Leon H.

Once again another big thank you for your invaluable help in progressing my claim to just one more level “up the mountain”. I believe I can see the peak as the clouds are definitely thinning, and hopefully we will be able to make just one more final assault to reach the summit! It doesn’t seem so long ago that I was involved in a 30 year long struggle with various Government Departments in which I achieved absolutely nothing except stress and frustration. What a lucky day for me in meeting you, as now in a fraction of the time, you have progressed my claim to a magnificent 80%. I thank you for your personal endeavor on my behalf, made more difficult by my continued absence and your sincerity and integrity towards many others and myself. Please find enclosed a donation cheque for $500 to assist you and your valuable volunteers to continue the good work. Finally I wish to congratulate you on your recent receipt of the O.A.M. as that gives due recognition that your work has been “taken onboard” by the wider community.

Bravo Zulu. Aussie L.
