The day is free for sightseeing,
shopping, and short excursions.

10.30 - Step off en route to the Hobart Cenotaph
11.00 - Commemorative Service
12.00 - Retire to the Navy Club, Davey Street, Camaraderie afternoon and BBQ luncheon.
A list of participating hotels and their
contact details have been attached for you to choose from.
Reservations should be made as soon as possible, and in all instances
please inform the reception desk that you are attending the VVAA Commemorative
event. This will ensure you receive
the applicable discounts that have been negotiated.
Bookings may be extended at the same rate if you wish to remain longer in
Hobart.
When your bookings have been confirmed,
please advise the VVAA Tasmanian President by email (vvaataspres@aussiebroadband.com.au)
of the hotel, number of guests and the duration of your stay.
EXCURSIONS
For those interested a variety of day
excursions for 17 August in and around Hobart will be on offer, or specific
requests can be organised subject to numbers.
COSTS
Costs for the formal dinner will be
$50.00 per person for a three course meal. Drinks
will be the individual responsibility.
Costs for the Luncheon BBQ to be held
following the commemorative service will be $20.00 per head excluding drinks.
These costs will be payable in advance.
Receiving account details will be circulated from 20 February for those
who wish to transfer funds by EFT. Cheques
should be made payable to The Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia Tasmania
Branch Inc., and forwarded to;
