I must apologise for my tardy reply to your invitations
to the Annual Dinner Dance and the RAN in Vietnam Memorial dedication. I have
thought long and hard re my attending, but I don’t think I have the stamina
for the lengthy journey and all the energy needed to join in these great
celebrations. My RA along with the hip operation, which did not go so well due
to the RA, has left me with walking and standing problems. I’m hoping that my
brother in law, Frank’s sisters husband and brother and perhaps their families
wilI represent Frank and me. I shall let you know if this is the case. They are
travelling at the moment. I am enclosing two cheques $200 for the Memorial and
$20 for the raffle tickets. Keep up the good work and look after your health, it
is so important. My special love to Honey-Bun and it is great to hear how well
the VLSVA is growing and helping so many like myself. Your sincere and grateful friend Phyllis E.
Please find enclosed 2 cheques in appreciation of assistance
in gaining the Special Rate benefit. Thanks to all staff from the brew boson up.
Once again, thank you for your assistance. Ron M.
Enclosed cheque towards the veterans welfare fund. In better
times I would like to donate more as I am SO
grateful for the help and understanding from the staff. It’s taken over 30
years to even talk, or acknowledge my experience in Vietnam. I will advise any
veteran to come forward to the Association. Thanking you. Kim M
Please accept this cheque for the Association in appreciation
for the assistance you have given me over the past 4 years. There were times
over this period that I was prepared to quit but your encouragement and
professionalism convinced me to hang in there. The end result has been a
successful one for which I cannot thank you enough. My advice to any other
Veterans out there, who feels they have grounds for a claim, is not to go it
alone, but to seek the advice of the professionals!!!! Again many thanks to your
team and keep up the appreciated work. Yours sincerely Ken H
Please accept this donation with our thanks for the time and
effort you have put in to achieve the EDA increase for Peter, it is greatly
appreciated. Very best wishes. Gwen & Peter P
I would like to thank you both for the assistance and work
you put in for my successful claim with Veteran Affairs. I would also like to
thank the team who made themselves available to me after hours with advice for
my claim. I would urge and ex serving members of the forces to contact your team
on any matters regarding service related problems, as I think you are a great
team. Once again thank you very much. Norman C.
Thank you so very much for helping me out this week with my
application. I could see you were very busy but you still found time to assist
me. It is very much appreciated. Thank you. Yours sincerely Robert A
